GUIDE (cultural, trekking, nature)
Born and raised in a remote village in Pemagatshel, Yeshey grew up in a demanding rural environment without access to electricity or modern infrastructure. From an early age, he developed exceptional resilience, mental strength, and physical endurance through daily farm work, cattle herding, and gathering firewood to support his family. This upbringing shaped him into a disciplined, self-reliant, and highly adaptable individual who thrives in challenging conditions.
Yeshey has successfully led some of the most demanding high-altitude expeditions in Bhutan, including the legendary Snowman Trek. Yeshey is a reliable and pleasant young man and as a practicing Buddhist, he brings mindfulness, patience, and quiet strength to both his professional and personal life. Beyond guiding, he has a strong interest in mountaineering, photography, and the natural world.
During the pandemic, he completed a German language course at A1 level and, although he has not actively practiced since, he remains motivated to refresh and further develop his German skills whenever the opportunity arises.
